Travertine is one of several natural stones that are used for paving patios and garden paths, also travertine tiles are used for interior flooring. Like marble, travertine has its roots in limestone and is formed usually where there are mineral springs. The stone is characterized by pitted holes and troughs in its surface. Unfilled travertine is the product of these mineral springs causing the familiar holes and troughs in the stone.

In the main “filled” travertine is used for floor surfaces and unfilled travertine generally for cladding.

Hemal Exim produces filled and unfilled travertine tiles as well as polished or unpolished with a wide range of colours. Please view our selection below. You can enlarge the images by clicking on them.
